I can’t believe that it was my birthday two weeks ago tomorrow, where is the time going?! I wanted to share with you what I got for my birthday as I have seen lots of these posts and I know how popular they are. To me birthdays arent as important when you get older. For me it’s about spending time with loved ones and actually spending the time to do something you love. I was extremely lucky this year and recieved some beautiful gifts.
My main gift off my mum and dad was a trip to see Ghost at our local Lyceum, it really was a fantastic show, I loved it! My mum and dad know I love the theatre so this was a wonderful surprise. They also treated me to a day at the spa on my birthday with a full body massage which was so nice of them. They also bought me a gorgeous baby pink bag. I’m not one for super expensive designer bags, I just want something that looks pretty and is a decent size. I spotted this one months ago and my mum remembered, it’s something completely different from my usual style and I absolutely love it!
They also treated me to Bridget Jones Baby on DVD as they know how much I love it. The Bridget jones films are some of my favourites! One of my friends bought me some gorgeous things too. We have recently started a dance class together, and she bought me a water bottle that I can take along. It’s also one of those fruit dispensers too, which is perfect! She also bought me a car airfreshner in the shape of a pig as they are my favourite animal. And also a beautiful set of bracelets which I adore. She really did spoil me!
My little sister did so much for me on my birthday. She decorated the whole of our living room with loads of balloons & banners and even bought me a cake. She also bought me this massive Disney storage box and the most adorable Dopey Disney Traditions figure to add to my collection. I absolutely LOVE it! She also bought me one of Disneys newest films on DVD – Zootropolis.
Another of my friends bought me a Body Shop voucher which I really can’t wait to spend. I’ve been loving body shop lately as it is perfect for my sensitive skin; I’ve finally found products I’m not allergic too! She also bought me a wooden heart which matches perfectly with my bedroom, it’s so pretty.
I also got some Prosecco in the cutest little gift set from another friend, along with some Barry M nail varnishes, in pink and red. I haven’t had any new nail varnishes in ages and the processo went down nicely. Another really lovely gift.
I did also received money and lots of chocolates off other family too which I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with yet. I always like to put my birthday money aside and spend it on something special so I have a memory for that Birthday rather than it being spent on food or petrol, ha!
I really was spoilt this year, I am so lucky to have such amazing family and friends who really did spoil me! What did you get for your recent birthdays? I love reading your posts, tag them below..
