My Disneyland Paris Trip Diary – DAY 2

Day 2 was a fabulous day. We had a solid plan that worked really well. It was super hot too which made it even better; My tan was starting to take shape too. We got up really early to make the use of extra magic hours, which we got with staying on site. We were one of the first at the gates to wait for it to open and it was so special to be in the parks when it was completely empty.

We headed straight for Main Street to see Chip & Dale and then Goofy & Pluto, in there 25th Anniversary outfits and they were both really great interactions. We then headed for breakfast with our food voucher, and it was amazing! We got a chocolate croissant, a bread bun with jam, a hot drink and an orange juice. Just the right amount for breakfast in my opinion.

We then headed on my favourite ride ‘Buzz lightyear Lazer Blast‘ because it always has a tiny wait time in a morning and is one of the very few rides open. We also went on Obritron for the first time before heading over to queue for the Walt Disney Studios.

I don’t think I have ever ran so fast to be first in the queue for Crushs Coaster. It’s always the ride with the longest wait throughout the day, so it was great to get on that first. It’s a fantastic ride, a personal favourite of mine, it’s so much fun!. We then headed to our fast pass on Ratatouille, which was a different experience! Not the best ride in my opinion but ill go more into that on another post.

We headed over to Toy Story Land to ride a few rides in there and then went on Tower of Terror and I LOVED IT! We watched a Star Wars show before heading for our dinner credit at Restaurant Des Stars, which was a fantastic buffet, with every type of food you can think of.

We spent the rest of the day going round the bigger rides in The Disneyland Park, met Jessie & Buzz and then sat and waited for the parade. It was worth the wait, it was fabulous. The new floats are spectacular and it was fantastic seeing all the characters together.

We had a relaxing walk around Frontierland afterwards, where we took loads of photos. I loved taking the time to explore. It was really hot so we wanted to wind down so the perfect way was to go and watch Mickey and the Magician, which was so so good. I’ll be doing another post on it in the future 🙂

As we used our dinner credit at lunch time we decided to treat ourselves to a sit down meal at The Rainforest Cafe. It really is an absolutely spectacular themed restaurant, I loved it, from the moving animals to the sound effects, it was amazing!

We headed back to the Disneyland Park before dinner to sit and wait for the Nighttime Spectacular Lightshow, how could we not watch it again?! And then headed back to our hotel for some well needed sleep before doing it all over again!

Day 2 was a VERY long day but I loved every single second. Keep checking back to find out what else we got up to in upcoming posts..
